Videos to inspire – nature restoration and offshore energy infrastructure can go hand in hand
OCEaN and the Renewables Grid Initiative are proud to share eight new videos highlighting successful projects working to restore and protect nature and couple them with offshore energy infrastructure in Europe’s seas. In these 1-2 minute videos, you'll hear from the experts behind these projects as they outline what makes their practices unique – and how scaling them up could help us meet Europe’s renewable energy and nature restoration goals in marine and coastal environments.
These videos were filmed at our conference Speeding up Nature Positive Offshore Energy Infrastructure Deployment on 19 October 2022 - you can also check out an after movie highlight of the event below.
We invite you to share these videos of inspiring practices with your wider network – we want to show what is currently possible and create the necessary momentum to scale up nature positive offshore energy infrastructure. Many of these practices are also featured in OCEaN's Energy & Nature Database - check it out to learn more!
If you wish to use these videos for communication or education purposes or share them on your social media channels, please do not hesitate to do so. Should you have any questions, please get in touch with charlotte@renewables-grid.eu.
