The Renewables Grid Initiative (RGI) and Members of the Offshore Coalition for Energy and Nature were present at WindEurope’s Annual Event in Bilbao, Spain from 20-22 March 2024 with a range of activities!

During the conference, OCEaN, RGI and WIndEurope held a dedicated workshop to bring together the perspectives of wind developers, transmission system operators, and NGOs to discuss the complexities and key components of nature-friendly offshore wind and grid development. Achieving offshore wind and biodiversity targets: opportunities and lessons learned in Europe’s seas drew lessons learned from the North and Baltic Seas and addressed the challenges and opportunities for the Mediterranean Sea basin.

OCEaN Exhibition Stand

The Offshore Coalition for Energy and Nature had a stand in the exhibition hall for all three days of WindEurope's Annual Event (March 20-22). We invited participants to stop by our stand (1-A130) to chat with OCEaN Members and the RGI Offshore team, explore our 'Learning Corner', and pick up some surprise giveaways.
